  While we no longer attend Talega due to moving around, the people at Talega changed my family's lives. We were homeless when two guys came to a parking lot to feed us sandwhiches. From there, they invited our twin teens to youth night and we soon became members, our teens volunteered with the young kids and we volunteered with the youth group. While the church has moved through several pastors, and friends that's what growing and spreading the word of God is all about. We have always felt loved, and cared for and the church even got us off the street and into a home, job, life again. My husband became a christian, my girls were baptized by Pastor Pondo. The scripture is stressed. The small group studies are great. Don't ever miss the Rob Bell series. Talega Life Church changed our lives. My twins graduate this June valedictorians with 4.0 gpa's and Talega brought God back into our lives when we thought he had forsaken us. We are living miracles and without Pastor Pondo and Perra Vleisides , Tom, Randy, Chris, Johnny, Stewart, Nick, Mike,Sandy, Wendy girl, we never would have found our way back to the Lord.
  People move on, grow apart, that's how we love, learn, grow in the Lord and share each other's sorrows and joys.
  Talega Life Church was definately one of the great joys of my family's lives. We plan to visit the ol homestead soon.
